Ivey began thru-hiking in 2017, and since then has walked a variety of long trails and routes including the Appalachian Trail, Vermont’s Long Trail, the Colorado Trail, the Arizona Trail, the Collegiate Loop, the Benton MacKaye Trail, New Zealand’s Te Araroa, the Grand Enchantment Trail, the Wind River High Route, and the Mogollon Rim Trail. Ivey details her experiences on trail in serial trip reports and photo galleries; her current focus is on the American Southwest and she plans to hike a variation of the Hayduke Trail in the Spring of ‘27.

Ivey lives in Crested Butte, CO, with her husband, Logan, and their dog, Ueli.
